On 18th July 2006 Cornwall County Council voted whether to sign a contract with Sita to deal with Cornwall's waste.
In reality they were voting on whether to build an incinerator and run it for the next 30 years.

Cornwall County Council employed the services of a consultancy company called AEA Technologies to look at all the alternatives for dealing with our waste.
