Cornwall Council Planning Authority Statement

Statement re SITA appeal against refusal of Cornwall Energy Recovery Centre planning application  

Cornwall Council notes the decision by SITA to lodge an appeal with the Planning Inspectorate over the refusal of its Cornwall Energy Recovery Centre (CERC) planning application.

Officers from the Council will now be working with elected members to prepare a robust defence of the planning decision taken by the former County Council Planning Committee in March 2009.
